Terms of Service

TechLift is operated by StanHattie LLC ("we," "us," or "TechLift"). By accessing or using the TechLift platform at techlifthq.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the TechLift platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to enter into these terms, and agree to be bound by them and our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Each person may maintain one worker account and one business account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Worker Terms

  • TechLift is free for workers - always. We will never charge workers a fee to create a profile, get matched, or use platform features.
  • No exclusivity. Creating a TechLift profile does not restrict you from working with other platforms, clients, or marketplaces.
  • You may set your profile to any availability status, including "not available," at any time.
  • You agree that the information in your profile is accurate and belongs to you.
  • Matching is based on your profile data and our AI scoring. We do not guarantee any specific number of matches or opportunities.
  • Any engagement arranged through TechLift is directly between you and the business. TechLift is not a party to any contract for services.

4. Business Terms

  • Subscription: Business access is available on monthly subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Scale). Pricing is listed on our pricing page.
  • Payment: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues through the end of the paid billing period.
  • Refunds: Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Contact us within 48 hours of a charge if you believe there has been an error.
  • Business accounts may not use TechLift data to build competing products or to engage in bulk outreach outside the platform.
  • You agree not to misrepresent your company or project requirements to workers.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from TechLift without written permission.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
  • Use TechLift for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with platform security features.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

The TechLift platform, including its code, design, AI models, and branding, is owned by StanHattie LLC.

You retain ownership of your profile content. By posting content on TechLift, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and process it for the purpose of operating the platform (matching, scoring, and displaying your profile to potential clients). We will not use your content for advertising without your consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

TechLift is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StanHattie LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost profits, lost data, or inability to find work or hire. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $50 for free accounts).
